Objective
Record that the operational team has seen an alert and begun or completed its review.
Environment
- You have permission to acknowledge alerts.
Resolution
- Open Overview’s critical-alert list or Workflows > Alerts > Active Alerts.
- Read the alert and verify the affected scope and current condition.
- Select Acknowledge on the alert.
- Check the resulting state or alert history to confirm the acknowledgement was recorded.
Note: Check the scope
Acknowledging an alert records a response; it does not by itself remove the underlying queue, SLA, or coverage condition.
