Objective

Apply a schedule change to multiple selected agents or items in a draft.

Environment

  • You have permission to edit Scheduling and access to a schedule version that can be edited.
  • You know which agents, items, and dates the change should affect.

Resolution

  1. Open Workforce Operations → Scheduling and select the schedule. Set the date range and use Filters to narrow the planner to the people or work you intend to change.
  2. Select Shifts or Activities, then select the agents or schedule items to change. The bulk edit panel shows the number selected.
Select the agents and items for the bulk action in the planner. The Action menu lists operations available for the current view.
  3. In Action, choose the operation. The available actions depend on the view: shift actions include Add shifts, Delete shifts, and Apply shift plan; activity actions include Add activity, Edit activity, and Delete activity. The panel also offers schedule copy, date-range duplication, and deletion actions where available.
  4. Complete the fields shown for that action, such as the shift plan, source and destination dates, activity type, or time. Review the selected agents and the date range before applying it.
    Important: Check the full scope

A bulk action can affect many agents and dates. Confirm the selected rows, destination period, and any option to include related activities before applying it.

  5. Use the action button in the panel. Review the changed rows, then save the schedule changes in the planner.

If you only need to edit one item, see How To Edit Shifts And Activities. To make a separate draft copy of the whole schedule, see How To Duplicate A Schedule.
