Objective

Follow the discussion and outcome of an appeal you submitted for a published QA result.

Resolution

  1. Open the result. Go to My Quality and select the ticket. The result list shows an appeal status when one exists; the Appeal section on the result page has the details.
  2. Read the current status. Pending means the appeal is open for manager review. The section lists the disputed criteria, your explanation, and the date submitted.
  3. Continue the discussion. Read manager comments and add a comment when the appeal permits it. A comment continues the conversation; it does not change the published grade by itself.
  4. Read the decision. Upheld means the published grades stand. Corrected means the manager published corrected grades as a new version while resolving the appeal. The decision includes the manager's explanation.
  5. Follow a replacement. Superseded means a newer result version replaced the appealed one through a separate publication. Use the link to the current version to see the grades now shared with you. You may be able to appeal that new version within its own window.

Your monthly My Quality summary continues to count a published result while its appeal is pending. See How To Appeal A QA Result for the submission steps.
