Objective

Copy an earlier published scorecard version into a new draft so you can review and publish that standard again.

Before you begin

You need Quality: Manage and a scorecard with an earlier, inactive published version. Restoring a version does not immediately change the active standard for categories.

Resolution

  1. Open the scorecard. Go to QA Settings · Scorecards and open the relevant scorecard.
  2. Inspect history. Select Version history. Find the earlier published version and use Preview to check its criteria, weights, and standards. The active version remains marked Active.
Version history marks the active scorecard version and lets you preview or restore an earlier published version as a draft. Publisher names are generalized in this example.
  3. Restore the snapshot. For the earlier inactive version, select Restore as draft. If another draft is already open, confirm that its contents may be replaced before proceeding.
  4. Review the new draft. Check its criteria and validation, make any necessary changes, and wait until the editor shows the draft has saved. The original published version remains unchanged in history.
  5. Publish deliberately. Select Publish, choose the categories that should use the restored standard, and select Publish and activate. This creates a new numbered version; it does not reactivate or edit the old snapshot in place.
  6. Verify the category. Open the affected category's QA Analysis tab from Categories and confirm the new active version. Completed evaluations retain the version used when they ran.
