Objective

Publish a reviewed schedule version for the people, dates, and schedule items that agents should see.

Environment

  • You have permission to publish from Scheduling.
  • The schedule version is saved, and its shifts and activities have been reviewed.

Resolution

  1. Open Workforce Operations → Scheduling and select the schedule. Review its dates, shifts, and activities. Save any pending changes.
  2. Select Validations and review the latest run and Current findings. Resolve findings that need schedule changes before publishing. See How to Use Schedule Validations for the check workflow.
  3. Select Publish in the schedule toolbar. In Publish schedule, check the Publish to destination, then set the Start date and End date that agents should receive.
  4. Under Publish type, choose Shifts only, Activities only, or Both. Choose the item types that are ready for agents.
  5. Under People to publish, keep All people or choose Select with filters. When filtering, review the matching people and their checkboxes. Confirm the summary of how many people will receive the schedule.
Review the selected people before publishing. Names and email addresses in this example are anonymized.
    Important: Publication scope controls visibility

Only the selected people, dates, and item types are published. Review all three before selecting Publish.

  6. Review the destination, dates, publish type, and selected people once more, then select Publish. Wait for the success message and check its people, date, shift, and activity counts.
  7. If an agent reports that the schedule is missing, compare their profile, date, and published scope with Investigate Why An Agent Cannot See A Published Schedule.
