Objective

Maintain an existing automation as the operational workflow changes.

Environment

  • You have automation management access.

Resolution

  1. Open Workflows > Automations and find the rule.
  2. Choose Edit to change its condition or action, or Clone to create a copy for a related use.
  3. Review a cloned or edited rule before saving or enabling it.
  4. Use Enable or Disable to control whether it can run.
  5. Use Delete only after confirming the rule is no longer needed.
Note: Check the scope

A clone is a separate rule. Check its name, conditions, scope, and enabled state before relying on it.
