# How To Use Report Filters And Saved Views

## Objective

Repeat a report with the same scope without rebuilding its filters each time.

## Environment

- You have access to **Reporting** and at least one report tab.

## Resolution

1. Open **Reporting** and choose the report tab you need. Each tab has its own report route and available filters.
2. Set the date range, timezone, and any channel, queue, team, or agent filters shown for that tab. The available controls depend on the report and your access scope.
3. Review the results before saving. The timezone determines the reporting day used for tickets and intervals.
4. Open **Saved views** in the filter bar and choose **Save current**. Give the view a name that identifies its purpose.
5. To return to that scope, open **Saved views** and select the view. If you change filters afterward, check the active view indicator before comparing results.

A saved view stores filters; it does not freeze report data or extend your reporting permissions. A shared report URL also follows the viewer’s own access scope.

## Notes on this article

### Note: Live results

After step 4 in resolution. Opening a saved view reruns the report with its filters. It does not restore a snapshot of older results.
