# How To Set Up Points And Rewards

## Objective

Configure the Engaging program, awardable activities, and claimable reward tiers.

## Environment

- You have Admin access to **Settings > Engaging**.

## Resolution

1. Open **Settings > Engaging** and initialize the program if it has not been set up. Review the starting activities and reward tiers before activating it.
2. In **General**, set the program start date, minimum tenure, claim-window length, and reward currency. Activate the program when the configuration is ready.
3. In **Activities**, define the activity category, tracking criteria, and point method. Fixed activities use one value; range and ranked activities need their allowed values.
4. In **Rewards**, create monthly or quarterly tiers with a point threshold. Add fulfillment notes and specify whether proof is required.
5. Check that active reward thresholds cover totals agents can realistically earn. Review eligibility and access before managers begin awarding.

Pausing the program blocks new awards and claims while preserving history. An award posts to both its month and containing quarter; an agent may claim one reward per finalized period.

### Note: Reward thresholds

After step 4 in resolution. An agent can claim only an active reward whose threshold is at or below their frozen period total.
