# Roles And Access In ZenOps Realtime

## Definition

Your **ZenOps** role and assigned permissions determine which **Realtime** pages and actions you can use.

## Context

An evaluator can review public product information without access. A signed-in operations user may see monitoring data, while an administrator may also manage users, integrations, or rule settings.

## Attributes

- Page visibility and edit actions can differ: viewing alerts does not by itself grant permission to acknowledge them or change rules.
- **Brand**, group, vendor, and other access scopes can limit which records appear.
- An administrator manages users and permissions in **User Management**.
