# Review Automation Execution History

## Objective

Check whether an automation ran and what happened during its execution.

## Environment

- Your account can open **Workflows** > **Automations**.

## Resolution

1. Open **Workflows** and select **Automations**.
2. Open the execution history view for the rule or the available history list.
3. Filter or sort the recorded runs if those controls are available.
4. Read the run time, rule, outcome, and any error details before changing the rule.
