# Resolve A Zendesk Integration Problem

## Symptom(s)

The Zendesk integration does not show an active OAuth connection, **Sync Zendesk Data** reports an error, or **Last synced** does not advance after a sync.

## Cause(s)

- The saved Zendesk subdomain may not match the account you intend to connect.
- The Zendesk OAuth connection may need authorization.
- The sync may have failed; the message shown after the attempt helps identify why.

## Resolution

1. Open **Integrations**, find Zendesk, and select **Manage**.
2. Confirm that **Zendesk Subdomain** matches the part of your Zendesk address before `.zendesk.com`. If you change it, select **Save Subdomain**.
3. Check whether **Zendesk Integration** shows **OAuth connection active**. If not, follow [How To Connect Zendesk](/help/articles/connect-zendesk/) to complete the authorization in Zendesk.
4. In **Zendesk Data Sync**, select **Sync Zendesk Data** once. Wait for the result, note any error message, then reload the page and check whether **Last synced** advanced.
5. If the sync completes but WFM agents, groups, or queues are missing, follow [Resolve A Zendesk Data Sync Problem](/help/articles/resolve-a-zendesk-data-sync-problem/).
6. If the connection remains inactive or the sync still fails, [contact ZenOps Support](/help/articles/contact-zenops-support/) with the error message and the time of the sync attempt. Do not include passwords or authentication tokens.
