# How To Clear A Manager Decision

## Objective

Remove a saved criterion decision and return its effective grade to the original AI result.

## Before you begin

You need **Quality: Manage** and a criterion with a saved manager decision in a completed run. Clearing is recorded in the decision history; it does not delete the original AI result.

## Resolution

1. **Open the affected run.** Go to [QA Analysis · QA Grades](https://wfm.zenops.cx/service/quality), open the run, and select the correct overall or agent target.
2. **Find the criterion.** Expand its scorecard group and criterion. Review the current manager choice and the AI grade shown beside it.
3. **Clear the choice.** In **Manager review**, select **Clear decision**. The current decision is removed and the effective grade returns to the AI grade. The run reloads the effective score and review progress.
4. **Verify history.** Select **Show change history** to confirm the clear action and earlier decisions are still recorded.
5. **Check publication.** If the agent grade was already published, clearing the decision changes the internal effective result but does not silently replace the agent's published snapshot. Use **Publish corrections** on the run page if the agent should receive a new version.

If you meant to keep a reviewed state while using the AI grade, choose **Change decision** and **Approve AI grade** instead. See [How Manager Decisions Affect The Effective Score](/help/articles/qa-how-manager-decisions-affect-the-effective-score/).
