# How To Publish Reforecasted Coverage To Schedules

## Objective

Apply a completed reforecast’s calculated staffing requirements to schedules and solver runs that use the same forecast.

## Environment

- You have permission to manage forecasts.
- You have a generated forecast with a completed baseline run and a completed reforecast.

## Resolution

1. Open the generated forecast and select **Reforecast**. In the runs table, select a run with **Completed** status whose staffing requirements you want to use.
2. Check the run’s reforecast window and queue and channel scope. Publishing applies only to the dates and workstreams included in this run.
3. Select **Calculate Required Coverage**. If coverage was already calculated and the run has changed, select **Recalculate**. Wait for the calculation to finish and confirm that coverage rows are available.
4. Select **Publish to Schedule**. Read the confirmation dialog, then select **Publish coverage** to apply the calculated requirements.
5. To stop using this run’s coverage later, select **Restore base coverage** from the same run and confirm. This reruns the base forecast’s coverage calculators and returns schedules and solver runs to the base requirements.

For recurring reforecasts, see [How To Schedule A Reforecast](/help/articles/schedule-a-reforecast/) and choose whether each run should publish coverage automatically. For the planner workflow after schedule generation, see [How To Review An Existing Schedule](/help/articles/review-an-existing-schedule/).

## Notes on this article

### Important: Review the impact before publishing

After step 4 in resolution. Publishing replaces required coverage for this run’s queue, channel, and time window. Every schedule and solver run that uses the forecast will use the published values there. It does not change forecast volume or publish an agent schedule.
