# Investigate Why An Agent Cannot See A Published Schedule

## Symptom(s)

A planner published a schedule, but an agent sees an empty date in **My Schedule** or cannot open their schedule.

## Environment

- You can review the published schedule in **Scheduling** and confirm the agent's workforce profile with an administrator if needed.
- The agent can report the date, view, and message they see in **My Schedule**.

## Cause(s)

- The published selection may exclude the agent, date, or item type.
- The selected range may contain no work for that agent.
- The agent's account may not be linked to a workforce profile.

## Resolution

1. Ask the agent to open **My Schedule**, choose the reported date with the arrows, and check **Day**, **Week**, or **Month**. Have them reload the page if the schedule was published while it was open. See [How To View Your Schedule](/help/articles/view-your-schedule/).
2. Open the schedule in **Scheduling** and confirm that the published version covers that date. Check the person and item selections used for publication: the agent must have been selected, and **Shifts** or **Activities** must have been included for the type of work they expect. If the scope was wrong, publish the intended people, dates, and item types.
3. Check the agent's row and date in the planner. A date can fall inside a published range without containing a shift or activity for that person. Add or correct the missing item, save the schedule, review it, and publish the corrected selection.
4. If **My Schedule** says **Agent Profile Not Found**, ask an administrator to link the agent's ZenOps account to the correct workforce profile. See [How To Invite Users And Link Workforce Profiles](/help/articles/invite-users-and-link-workforce-profiles/).
5. If the agent still cannot see expected items, confirm their account access and profile link with an administrator. Provide the schedule name, published dates and item type, agent, and the message shown in **My Schedule**. See [Roles And Access In ZenOps WFM](/help/articles/roles-and-access-in-zenops-wfm/).

## Notes on this article

### Note: A published date can still be empty

After step 3 in resolution. Publishing a date range does not create a shift or activity for every person in that range.
