# How To Duplicate A Schedule

## Objective

Create a separate draft copy of an existing schedule for review or experimentation.

## Environment

- You have permission to manage **Scheduling**.
- The source schedule appears in the **Scheduling** list.

## Resolution

1. Open **Workforce Operations** → **Scheduling** and find the schedule you want to copy in the list.
2. Select the **Duplicate schedule** action for that schedule. ZenOps creates a draft copy and opens it in the planner.
3. Check the copied schedule's name, dates, agents, shifts, and activities. Make any needed edits and save the draft before using it.

To repeat selected shifts or activities across another period within the same schedule, use **Duplicate schedule** in the planner's bulk edit panel instead. See [How To Make Bulk Schedule Changes](/help/articles/make-bulk-schedule-changes/).

## Notes on this article

### Note: The copy is a draft

After step 2 in resolution. Duplicating a published schedule still creates a draft. Review and publish the new version separately when it is ready.
