# Connect And Configure The Recharge Integration

## Objective

Connect a Shopify store that uses Recharge so QA evaluations can reference its subscription and charge evidence.

## Environment

- Your workspace has **Service Operations**, and you have access to manage **Integrations**.
- You know the store's `myshopify.com` domain.
- A Recharge administrator for the store can approve the requested permissions.

## Resolution

1. Open **Integrations** in ZenOps and select **Add Integration**. Find **Recharge** under **Commerce** and open it.
2. Under **Connect a store**, enter the store's `myshopify.com` domain and select **Connect Recharge**. You can enter the store handle or its domain; ZenOps normalizes it to the canonical Shopify domain.
3. On Shopify's authorization page, sign in with an account allowed to install apps and review every permission in the live request. Continue only if the requested access is expected and approved by your organization.
4. When the authorization flow returns to ZenOps, review the company, store name, domain, and permissions in the confirmation panel. If they match the store you intend to connect and the access is approved, select **Connect this store**.
5. In **Connected stores**, confirm the store shows **Active** and review the displayed capabilities and connection details. The evidence available in ZenOps depends on the connected store and granted access.
6. To use Recharge in a QA evaluation, open [QA Settings · Scorecards](https://wfm.zenops.cx/settings/service/qa-analysis/scorecards) and open the relevant criterion's evidence editor. Choose **Recharge**, select an evidence item such as **Review subscription status**, **Verify next charge**, **Review cancellation**, or **Review recent charge history**, then select the connected store and **Add evidence**. Save the criterion.
7. If an evidence item is unavailable, check that the intended store is active and that the required access was approved. If you reconnect, review the current Shopify permission request before approving it, then confirm the store again in ZenOps.

To disconnect a store, select **Disconnect** on its card and confirm. This removes ZenOps' stored credentials. To revoke the app's access in Recharge as well, remove ZenOps from the store in Recharge.

## Notes on this article

### Important: Review the live permission request

After step 3 in resolution. The Connect Recharge page describes access as read-only, but the example Shopify prompt includes write permissions for customer, order, and subscription data. Requests can vary. Treat Shopify’s live prompt as the source of truth, and do not approve access broader than your organization has authorized.

### Note: Evidence is read on demand

After step 6 in resolution. ZenOps checks Recharge only when an evaluation requires the configured evidence. It matches the ticket requester to a Recharge customer by email.
