# Change A User's Realtime Access

## Objective

Update a person’s role or scope when their operational responsibility changes.

## Environment

- You can manage users and permissions.

## Resolution

1. Open **Settings** > **User Management** and find the user.
2. Review the current role and any brand, vendor, or other access scope.
3. Choose the new role or scope needed for the person’s work and save the change.
4. Ask the user to confirm that the relevant **Realtime** pages and actions now match the intended access.
