# Acknowledge An Alert

## Objective

Record that the operational team has seen an alert and begun or completed its review.

## Environment

- You have permission to acknowledge alerts.

## Resolution

1. Open **Overview**’s critical-alert list or **Workflows** > **Alerts** > **Active Alerts**.
2. Read the alert and verify the affected scope and current condition.
3. Select **Acknowledge** on the alert.
4. Check the resulting state or alert history to confirm the acknowledgement was recorded.
